An unforgettable year—touched by triumph and woven with tragedy—sums up another year at Freedom Communications.
Throughout 2001, the people at Freedom proved their cooperative spirit during the good times and the bad. There are many success stories that drove our high-performance culture—powered by our people—as we found innovative ways to reach our customers and do our business better.
Bright ideas turned into business objectives that created new products, found new markets and exceeded customer expectations from morning deliveries in Yuma to service partnerships in Albany to specialty publication opportunities everywhere. And these are just a few of the good ideas that made our business go last year. This year's Annual Report celebrates these successes and more.
There were tests, too. Tests that made us reflect on who we are as a company, as a country and as citizens. With challenges, we found opportunities to produce strong results despite a weak economy.
We, too, will never forget Sept. 11. With the shock came the tenacity to fight for our freedoms, our families, our nation and our communities.
Lest we forget, Freedom Communications is all about people—the people who show up every day to deliver value to our customers with innovation and a cooperative spirit.
