Mike Hodges named Vice President, Sales, Freedom Interactive
IRVINE, Calif.—Aug. 19, 2008—Freedom Interactive, a division of Freedom Communications, Inc., today announced Mike Hodges has been appointed vice president, Interactive Sales. Hodges will report to Doug Bennett, president, Freedom Interactive.
“The Interactive advertising opportunity continues to grow at a rapid pace and we want to position Freedom to take full advantage of this growing space,” said Bennett. “Mike brings the expertise and focus necessary to grow our Interactive business beyond our traditional print or broadcast advertisers.”
Hodges most recently served as director of real estate advertising for the Orange County Register. Prior to joining Freedom, Hodges served as owner and chief executive officer for The Realty Corporation, a Denver based real estate agency and mortgage brokerage which focused on lead generation through internet marketing. Previously, Hodges served as national director of sales for DoubleClick, Inc. Hodges’ experience also includes various roles in online media, email and database marketing and advertising sales for Equifax, Chosen Media and RipTube.com.

Hodges holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
