Freedom Communications names Mark A. McEachen as its Chief Financial Officer

Irvine, Calif, May 27, 2009 - Freedom Communications has named finance veteran Mark A. McEachen as its new Chief Financial Officer effective immediately. McEachen brings to Freedom 25 years of experience as a financial professional, having served as a CFO and a COO and managed a wide range of functions at both private and public companies.

McEachen comes to Freedom from Fabrik, Inc., a manufacturer of external hard drives and digital content management software headquartered in San Mateo, where he was chief financial officer. Prior to that, he was interim CEO and then Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer of BridgeCo, Inc., El Segundo, a digital entertainment-networking pioneer. McEachen brings both a diverse industry background and a breadth of knowledge in all facets of finance, operations, strategic planning and M&A.
