Dawn Kusick Paduganan named Vice President, Sales, Freedom Interactive

Irvine, Calif.—Nov. 5, 2007—Dawn Kusick Paduganan has been named Vice President of Sales for Freedom Communications’ Interactive Division, reporting to Interactive President, Michael Mathieu. Paduganan moves to the Interactive Division after serving as Vice President of Sales and Market Development for Freedom Newspapers.

“Dawn brings strong experience in transforming businesses and spearheading change within the newspaper industry,” said Michael Mathieu. “I am confident that her understanding of our evolving industry and her track record of success in driving effective solutions across media platforms will support our mission to provide value for our advertisers.”

Paduganan has more than 17 years experience in new media, sales and marketing at Freedom. Other positions she has held while at Freedom include: Vice President Sales and Market Development, Freedom Interactive Newspapers; President and Chief Executive Officer of Coloradosprings.com and Gazette.com; Manager of Digital Media Development and Manager of New Product Development/New Media Marketing at The Orange County Register. Prior to joining Freedom, she worked at The Cincinnati Enquirer, Prentice Hall and Young and Rubicam.

Paduganan holds a bachelor of arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Business from the University of Michigan. She completed the University of California, Irvine’s master of business administration Marketing Management class for The Orange County Register and the Executive Education program at Stanford Business School in Leading Organization Change. She is also a member of the Monster Partner Advisory Council and Google Print Advisory Council.
