Three Pulitzer Prizes in journalism: its first in 1985
for photographic coverage of the 1984 Olympic Games
in Los Angeles, the second in 1989 for specialized
reporting, and a third in 1996 for investigative reporting. Perennial winners
in the Society of News Design, National Press Photographers, Society of Professional
Journalists, National Headliners and other regional and national competitions.
